Advantages

The strength of the ZERO format is above all its simplicity. This means that the contractor can give effect to the architect’s creative concept in a simple, generally recognised way.

ZERO has other advantages too:

• Ageing of the facade is slowed down
• The typical way of laying the bricks – tilting technique – means that no excess mortar that might disfi gure the outside of the brick gets on the front.
• The narrow, open vertical joints provide excellent ventilation of the cavity. 
• No special tools are needed. 
• There are no signifi cant changes in the details of construction
